Pandemonium Struck downtown Akron near the University of Akron campus briefly this afternoon as a Officer from the School shot and killed a man who apparently was armed with a gun during a traffic stop near Campus.  According to sources at the scene.  A man in a Chevrolet Cavalier was pulled over in the parking lot of the Ohio BMV on Wolf Ledges near campus.  What happened next no one is sure of, as workers reported hearing shots and brief panic overtook the office.  When the ruckus ceased, shot dead was a 5'8 in white man who has yet to be identified.  Officers responded quickly to the scene where it was roped off, and the Officer who had conducted the traffic stop was quickly whisked away.  Police gave few details of situation, but did report the man was armed.  Calls to the Ohio Medical Examiner's office yielded little as the man still has not been identified.  More on this story as details unfold.
